What is included in the AMAU Academy subscription?

AMAU Academy offers three subscription plans: The Self-Development Program, Arabic with AMAU, and The Student of Knowledge Program.

The Self-Development Program includes 80+ courses on topics ranging from productivity and education to mental health and spirituality. New courses are added every two weeks, and each course is accompanied by a PDF book and a self-evaluation quiz. It's ideal for anybody who wants to become a better Muslim across a number of different aspects of their life.

Arabic with AMAU is a new and innovative approach to learning Arabic as a second language. It’s a self-paced course taught by Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble, where he simplifies the process of learning Arabic by relying on his years of experience in teaching the language. Subscribers of this program will also automatically get access to the Self-Development Program.

The Student of Knowledge Program is a tailor-made program for anyone who wants to embark on a journey of seeking Islamic knowledge in a detailed, structured, and progressive manner. This is not a 1-year program, or a 5-year program, or even a 10-year program. It’s a life-long journey where we want to develop our students into the next generation of scholars. We’ll be teaching Islamic sciences that have never been taught before in the English language, and our focus is going to be on explaining classical books from beginning to end.

It's the perfect opportunity for anybody who wants to take seeking Islamic knowledge seriously in order to get closer to Allah. Subscribers of this program will have full access to the entire AMAU Academy platform so they can benefit from the Self-Development Program, Arabic with AMAU, and the Student of Knowledge Program all at the same time.

What is the schedule for new content release on AMAU Academy?

At AMAU Academy, our content release schedule varies based on the program:

1. Student of Knowledge Program: Expect a new video every day, except during Ramadan. During this sacred month, students are encouraged to focus on Quran studies and will have a break from regular lessons.

2. Arabic with AMAU Program: New content is released monthly to ensure a steady and manageable pace for learning Arabic.

3. Self-Development Program: Look forward to a new course added every two weeks, providing continuous opportunities for personal growth and skill development.

Please note that the release of content is solely at the discretion of AMAU Academy and may be subject to change, particularly towards the end of the program or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Can I interact with the instructors in person?

If you have subscribed to the Student of Knowledge Program you can ask questions to our instructors during the live Q&A sessions using the chat option. We do not offer 1-1 sessions with our instructors at the moment.

Will I get access to new content that is added?

As long as you are subscribed to a plan, you will have access to all new content that is added under your subscription.

Where can I find the course resources?

Many of our courses have learning aids, downloadable media, and helpful resources that are offered in addition to the videos. You can find them in the “Resources” tab directly below the video player.

Can I download the videos?

Subscribers will have the option to make in-app downloads only so they can watch the videos offline.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Certainly! You can cancel your subscription plan at any time, whether it is monthly or annual. After cancellation, you will not be charged further, and you will retain access to our content until the current monthly or annual cycle ends.

Please be aware that refunds will NOT be offered for cancelled subscription plans.

Playback Questions

My video does not playback smoothly. How can I fix this?

Video playback depends on several factors. To improve your playback experience, make sure you have a fast, stable internet connection. We recommend using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may experience playback issues with outdated devices and browsers.

Can I watch videos on my phone or tablet without using an app?

Yes. Our website adapts to phone and tablet browsers so you can watch our content anywhere!

Can I watch videos on my TV without using an app?

Yes. By connecting your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, you will be able to watch videos from our site on your TV.

Which browsers are supported?

While we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, we also support Firefox and Safari browsers released within the last five years. You may experience playback issues when using an out-of-date browser or any version of Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.

Can I watch videos using Chromecast and AirPlay?

Yes! Both Chromecast and Airplay are compatible with our site.

  • To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast. Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.

  • To use AirPlay: Open the video on your Apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.

Customer Service

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

On the login page, click forgot password, enter the email associated with your account, and click send instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the instruction email, click reset password and you will be directed to select a new password before being redirected to the catalog page.

How do I change my password?

Once signed into your account, you can change your password by clicking "My Account" and then clicking "Change Password" from the top navigation menu.

Where can I update my billing information?

Once signed into your account, you can update your billing information by clicking "My Account" and then clicking "Billing" from the top navigation menu.

My credit card is being declined. Why is that?

Many credit/debit cards have online purchase restrictions. If your card is being declined, please contact your credit card company to let them know the purchase you would like to make is valid. Also, certain credit/debit cards do not allow for recurring subscription billing, and therefore, may be declined.

​​Some countries, for example, India, have set certain restrictions around subscription payments for all companies outside the country. So kindly reach out to your bank before you make the payment so that they can approve the same.

How do I cancel my membership?

Once signed into your account, you can cancel your recurring subscription by clicking "My Account" from the top navigation menu. Select "Billing" and then you will be directed to the billing page. Click on “Cancel Membership”. Your membership will then be canceled and your access will be removed at the end of your current payment period.
