Fluency varies from person to person and depends on your
effort, consistency, and practice.
This course is designed to help you build a solid
foundation and reach a level of basic fluency—enough to
understand and communicate in everyday situations,
provided you revise and apply what you learn. Reaching
native-level fluency usually takes several years of
continued study beyond the course, but this program sets
you firmly on the right path.
This course primarily focuses on Classical Arabic. However, we plan to introduce content covering conversational Arabic and local dialects in the future, إن شاء الله.
By the end of the course, you will be able to understand many of the commonly used words and phrases found in the Qur’an, ḥadīth, and scholarly texts. However, to fully grasp more complex or less frequent vocabulary, referring to a dictionary may still be necessary.
The final word count is yet to be confirmed as the course is still in progress. However, we estimate that students will learn over 2,000 words, إن شاء الله.
At present, there are no dedicated lessons on dialects. The focus remains on Classical Arabic. However, we plan to introduce content related to dialects in Section 15, إن شاء الله.
We suggest watching the first video of each section to see which level suits you best. Since we don’t offer placement tests, the best way to find your starting point is by assessing it yourself. If a section feels too basic, move forward. If it seems too advanced, go back to the previous one until you find the right fit.
This course covers the basics of Arabic grammar and language. However, it does not go into advanced Naḥw (syntax) or Ṣarf (morphology). For deeper study in these areas, we recommend following the language pathway in the Student of Knowledge program, إن شاء الله.
If you can already read Arabic and understand some basic
vocabulary, this course can still help you improve. It
focuses on building practical language skills, expanding
your vocabulary, and helping you understand Arabic in
real contexts.
If you’re looking for advanced grammar (Naḥw),
morphology (Ṣarf) and rhetoric (Balaghah), you may want
to look into the Student of Knowledge program
instead.
It depends on your goal—this course is great if you want
to strengthen your foundation and improve your
understanding step by step.
